MSC pre-paints and coats a wide range of steels, aluminums and specialty metals, for an equally wide variety of automotive, off-highway and industrial vehicles, structural and architectural components, appliances and many other applications. Nearly any coated metal application is possible with MSC’s diverse capabilities in steel and aluminum, heavy and light gauge, wide width and large coils. Virtually any type of coating can be applied over pretreated metals, including B-stage adhesives and friction products, which allow for final cure during the customers’ process, if needed.

Responding to customer requests for lower cost without compromising quality, MSC specializes in helping to convert existing post-paint processes to a far more efficient pre-painted solution. Our team of process and manufacturing experts works with customers to develop a turn-key coating operation that meets their needs exactly. This conversion can save substantial capital by reducing or eliminating work-in-progress inventories, warehouse space, material handling processes, environmental concerns and insurance costs.

MSC’s pre-paint facilities are large scale yet highly adaptive to a wide range of customer needs – from small to large production runs, and coil widths up to 72 inches. These advanced lines are capable of coating cold rolled, hot-dipped galvanized, electrogalvanized steel, tin plate and aluminum substrates, processing gauges from .006 to .110 inches on most substrates. You can specify polyester, siliconized polyester, fluorocarbon, urethane, and other painted finishes for your products. And, once coated, your coils can be slit to your exact specifications.

Our state-of-the-art coil tracking system incorporates a computerized barcode system to closely monitor your metals throughout processing. This innovative technology delivers precise, up-to-the-minute status of your material from arrival to delivery.

MSC’s paint lines run more standard colors than anyone to meet most customer needs. However, for special customer requirements, we have the capability of producing pre-painted metals in a wide number of distinct colors and saturations.
